Wire transfers: limits, fees, and timelines

Send domestic and international wires securely through online banking or in branch.

Payments Wire Transfer Transfers

Domestic wires

  • Fee: $25 online / $30 in branch
  • Cut-off: 3:00 p.m. ET for same-day processing
  • Delivery: Usually same business day if submitted before cut-off

International wires

  • Fee: $45 plus any intermediary bank fees
  • Cut-off: 1:00 p.m. ET
  • Delivery: 1–5 business days depending on destination

Daily limits

Online banking wire limits are $25,000 per day for personal accounts and $100,000 per day for business accounts. Higher amounts require a branch visit with valid ID.

Information required

Recipient name, account number, receiving bank name, routing number (domestic) or SWIFT/BIC code (international), and purpose of payment.
