Deposit checks using the Halloway mobile app with daily limits and hold policies.

How to deposit a check

  1. Sign the back of the check and write For mobile deposit only at Halloway Bank.
  2. Open the Halloway app and select Deposit check.
  3. Choose the account, enter the amount, and take photos of the front and back.
  4. Retain the paper check for 14 days, then destroy it securely.

Daily limits

  • Personal accounts: $5,000 per day, $10,000 rolling 30-day limit
  • Business accounts: $25,000 per day with established relationship

Funds availability

First $225 is typically available the next business day. Remaining funds may be held up to five business days for new accounts or large deposits. See your funds availability disclosure for details.

Tips for a successful deposit

  • Use good lighting and a dark background
  • Ensure all four corners are visible
  • Do not deposit the same check twice
